2008 Total Lunar Eclipse
Feb 20-21 2008 Lunar Eclipse. Images taken in and out of
heavy cloud cover at Santa Fe Community College
Planetarium in Gainesville Florida. In Conjunction with
Planetarium activities the (AAC) Alachua Astronomy club
members braved the cool and clouds to bring out our scopes
in the hope that we could give planetarium goers a close up
view of the Lunar Eclipse. In a Co-operative effort on the part
of the AAC and the Planetarium but Mother Nature, not so
much!!
The Moon in many images is shrouded in clouds. Out of 125
images these were the best. Taken with a Fujifilm S 1 Pro With
an inexpensive 300mm Opteka telephoto AF lens with a Vivitar
