The neighbors above thought I was nuts
With southwestern horizon at dusk
Darkness at last
The moon is a given. Lower left is Venus. On the right is Jupiter and two of its moons
click image to enlarge.. More remarkable than the moons of Jupiter to me is the two
stars just to the upper right of Venus. The Upper star is SAO188419 it is a Mag 6.1 and
is 489 light years away. To The lower right of SAO188419 is SAO188407 it is a Mag 6.9
and is 587 light years away. Keep in mind these images were captured with Nikon D80
and a 18-135mm ED AF IF lens in manual focus and auto exposure on a tripod.
